Photography has been my passion for over twenty five years. Little did I realise when I began my diploma in photography, in 1976 - at the tender age of fifteen, it would become my life-blood and something I just can't imagine my life without.
As an artist, I have always painted and created in mixed media collage, using my photos as a reference guide for colour, texture and light.
It seemed a natural progression to graduate into professional (freelance) media photography, working with the Surf Life Saving Movement and the International Aerobics Championships each year while working full time as a Graphic Designer.
The framing of the chosen subject, exposure and lightening speed of the shot taken became second nature. It is the culmination of these skills, and twenty years of Graphic Design followed by Editorship of six magazines and photographic styling for corporate catalogues and TV commercials for six years that create the success of J.W. Photography.
Jennifer White Photography began in September 2000 and quickly grew to encompass digital photography and video, alongside the traditional SLR 35mm format. Although Weddings and Corporate photography are our main business, Food shots, Christenings, Twenty-first's, Family portraiture, Glamour photography both indoor and outdoor are also our specialty.
During the time that I passed the one-hundred-wedding benchmark, my reputation continued to grow for excellent results, fair prices with all negatives supplied.
We now use the best Cannon EOS 35mm & Digital equipment and carry full Cameraman's Insurance policies including public liability.
My code is this: 'Nothing is too much trouble, we will very happily accommodate any requests, given time - at an extremely affordable price'.
I often say; "I feel like the luckiest woman alive - I do what I love most and everyone smiles when they see me".
