Note: In this document "Jennifer Williams Photography" is referred to as "JWP"

PLEASE NOTE: Whilst every effort is made to work with and encourage children, no responsibility can be taken as to their demeanor on the day. Parents are therefore responsible for children's behavior, and are encouraged to help entice the best smile.

Legal Release

It is a legal requirement of our photography that all persons sign a release or waiver for the use of their photograph. This means that we may select an image for use in our studio or advertising, web site or photography exhibition. Parents must sign on behalf of their baby to give permission as guardians.

Remember, what we offer is ‘shared copyright’ by giving you any images on DVD. No signature, no DVD. Please note: We will never show baby's Penis or Vagina in any photo anywhere, theses are given to you and not used by JWP, although babies bottoms are ‘fair to show’.

Clothing

We find that earth-tones are best, without loud prints on the front of shirts.

Bright colours will stand out, so avoid red, orange and fleuro colours. White is fine. Avoid black or dark colours if you wish a black background.

Outdoor Photo Sessions

Outdoor sessions are encouraged and are suitable for approx 30 people. It is your responsibility to select a location you are happy with; however, we do have a few chosen locations around the Hunter Valley that our kind customers have given permission to use.

Jennifer has a studio based in Kitchener where photography sessions can be held with a variety of spots to create an appealing backdrop.

Studio & Children

We have a kids play area right beside you with toys. Changes of clothes are encouraged for a variety of shots; babies can have several in a one hour session. Blankets and cloth nappies are also encouraged. Parents in 1.5 hr studio baby packages should also bring black T-shirt. We have a change room and baby change table in the studio. Bring a spare disposable nappy if that is what you use.

Props

For the stylized form of baby photos, e.g. black background, babe on fake fur blanket with wings etc. these props are available in our studio, (sanitized after every shoot). We also have little girl fairy wings, boys bowler hats and bow tie, a variety of baskets, chairs, baby blankets etc. We also have the ‘stork’ hanging white sling for new borns. An every growing array of props.

Any props you wish to bring are an advantage, please talk to Jen about any wishes you have or shots you have seen and wish to emulate.

Bookings

Bookings require half (non-refundable) payment as deposit, paypal on web site, credit card over phone. We do not advocate c/card on net. The remainder is payable on the day. This is because you have booked studio & or Jennifer's time and arrangements have been made. It also has prevented any one else booking the studio or Jen at the same time.

Should you wish to change your time, a 48hr notice will suffice to keep your deposit and every effort will be made to accommodate your renewed needs.

Timing

Please be prompt for your booking, as we are when you book Jen to attend a location. Although we can bend a little, times do have to be adhered to as much as possible to be fair to all concerned. Should your baby require feeding during a photo session, please do not distress as their needs are important and we will always work around them.

When will my disk be ready?

Approx one week after the photography session. High resolution jpegs of approx (6mg) each photo are supplied not in a folder a personalized photo front DVD x 2 copies, so that IF your DVD player plays jpegs, you can watch the photos on your TV, although the DVD is designed for computer use. Should you wish more copies of the DVD, these are available to order for $15.00 each.
