"Our deepest thanks for the great work you did at our recent wedding.
We have the most wonderful memories of our family and friends to keep forever."
- Marie and Barry
Button Holes flowers are a popular choice for the guys, however, very few know or are shown how to pin them on. Photo 1 - shows the flower placed on the lapel usually on the left hand side. Photo 2 – shows the lapel pinched around the flower stem and one pin inserted through (being careful not to show the pin at the front.) The only reason the florist gives you a pretty pearl pin is so you don’t hurt your fingers pushing it through, it is not a form of jewellery.
If you are not into carrying a heavy bouquet all day – why not select a corsage on the wrist? For little girls a floating Styrofoam ball impregnated with flowers hanging around the wrist by a piece of ribbon is a great alternative. The florist often puts crystals in it too to catch the light.
Whom to thank in the speeches – Everyone! Some one somewhere said not to thank your photographer and videographer? A little thanks goes a long way, particularly if you have had someone who performed above and beyond a photographer. If you feel anyone has excelled in their role through your day, then why not? – be it friends, family, staff or whomever. The biggest tip I can give you – IS DON’T FORGET YOUR NEW HUSBAND OR WIFE! (And end it with a kiss for he or she).
